The Blackmagic Design HDMI to SDI mini converter can be used to convert the HDMI signal out of a camera into an SDI signal.
This makes it easier to run vision to monitors around set, as SDI can be run greater lengths, and the BNC connections are far more robust and reliable.
This converter also has an internal battery.
